Assistant Director
Position Description
STATUS: Part-time, At Will 15-20hours/week REPORTS TO: Executive Director
WAGE: $12-14 hour BENEFITS: none
REQUIRED:
Will collaborate with the Executive Director on the day to day operation of the pantry
Will perform intake process of clients, maintain documentation and privacy of clients
Will include working with and scheduling volunteers
Will managing food pantry inventory
Will coordinate donation delivery
Will attend committee meetings and board meetings when Director is absent
Will manage other duties as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS:
Proficient verbal and written communication skills
Proficient organizational skills and attention to detail
Ability to prioritize and delegate tasks
Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite
Fluency in Spanish and English helpful
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
High School Diploma or GED Equivalent
Positive work history – experience working with low-income people is a plus
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer
Prolonged periods of standing and walking
Must be able to lift up to 30 pounds at times
